The CLASS Dean’s Dream Big Ventures and Her Money Moves Podcast Internship is a paid internship offering an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of business, media, and entrepreneurship. Interns will receive a stipend for their participation in the program which consists of a remote 20-hour week. This is a great opportunity for students to shadow an industry leader committed to assisting with professional development, self advocacy, and networking.
Priority deadline is December 31, 2024 with applications being reviewed until position is filled.

"Her Money Moves" is dedicated to empowering women, particularly in the realms of finance, leadership, and innovation. On the show, we explore inspiring journeys, practical tips, and strategies to empower women and their financial futures. We know that when women are empowered in leadership, that we progress in our industries, uplift our communities, and propel the global economy forward.
Internships will be offered in the following areas
Communications & PR: Manage daily communications, draft press releases, and collaborate with media outlets to increase exposure.
Social Media Growth: Boost engagement and followers on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
Marketing & Advertising: Assist in digital marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness and expand reach.
Newsletter Creation: Curate content and design monthly newsletters for our audience.
Grant Writing & Awards: Support in drafting grant proposals and submitting for relevant industry and podcast awards.
Event Planning & Business Development: Help organize events, secure partnerships, and grow business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be:
Interested in the nexus between business, media, entrepreneurship and empowering underrepresented communities.
Creative and innovative
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
Hardworking, ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a CLASS major
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours a week during the internship
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
Attend orientation prior to internship placement
Register for 1 hour of Special Topics credit and/or Comm 4392
