Want to be the voice of change and foster a community where diverse perspectives thrive? That's exactly what the Valenti Student Advisory Council is all about!

With the Valenti Student Advisory Council, you get to be the bridge between students and faculty, supporting freedom of expression and diversity of views. Members play a key role in organizing events that champion equity and create opportunities for Valenti students to shine. You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with professors and staff, meaning you're not just a face in the crowd. It's a chance to build relationships that might just blossom into valuable professional references down the road.

By joining you’ll:

• Build social capital in meetings with Valenti Faculty, Staff, and CLASS Deans

• Plan and execute signature events like ValentiFest

• Receive a Letter of Recommendation from the Valenti Director

• Act as the face of Valenti for student tours

Involvement and Expectations:

• The council will be meeting during the fall and spring semesters only.

• Members are expected to attend meetings either in person or virtually and contribute with ideas and input.

• Members will need to be in attendance for ValentiFest in the fall and the Career Workshop in the spring.
