This scholarship is for a student enrolled at the Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston. This year, the Valenti Alumni Association will award a $2,000 ($1,000/semester) to a deserving Valenti student.  Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. The deadline to apply is April 15, but students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure we have time to judge the entries. The Headliners Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications through Friday, March 7, 2025, for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible students are encouraged to apply. The Headliners Foundation of Texas awards 18-20 scholarships totaling more than $85,000 annually to Texas college students who are preparing for a journalism career.
