NextDecade Corporate Communications & Affairs Internship

At NextDecade, our Policy & Corporate Affairs team is essential in shaping our public image and engaging with key stakeholders. Our Corporate Communications & Affairs Internship offers a unique opportunity for driven individuals to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement within the energy sector.

What You'll Do: As a Corporate Communications & Affairs Intern, you will be involved in various activities that support our communication strategies and external relations, gaining insights into the following areas:

• Corporate Communications: Assist in developing and executing communication strategies that promote NextDecade’s mission, projects, and achievements.

• Content Creation: Assist in drafting press releases, speeches, social media content, and internal communications that align with NextDecade’s messaging and goals.

• Public Relations: Support efforts to enhance NextDecade’s public profile by coordinating media relations, including preparing press kits, managing media inquiries, and assisting with interviews and media events.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in communication efforts with government agencies, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. You’ll help prepare materials for meetings, events, and conferences.

• Event Support: Participate in organizing and executing corporate events, public forums, and other activities that enhance NextDecade’s presence in the energy sector.

What We're Looking For:

• Students graduating December 2025 through December 2026 preferred, pursuing degrees in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

• Strong writing and editing skills.

• Creativity and a keen eye for detail in crafting compelling messages.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• A proactive attitude and passion for storytelling and brand communication.

Duration and Compensation: This internship program typically lasts 8-10 weeks offering valuable exposure to the LNG and energy industry. Compensation and additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
