As a leader in our field, we are looking for a talented and motivated Social Media Intern to join our growing team and contribute to our online presence.

Position: Social Media Intern
Location: Houston, TX
Type: Part-time (10-20 hours/week)
Duration: Spring 2025

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and Discord

• Social Media Management: Monitor and manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the online community.

• Research and Trends: Stay informed about social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and growth

• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize social media analytics tools to track key metrics, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and production teams to align social media strategies with overall marketing objectives and campaigns

• Community Engagement: Foster positive interactions with our online community, respond to inquiries, and cultivate relationships with followers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled upperclassman in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and online community management. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with popular social media platforms and their functionalities.

• Basic understanding of social media analytics.

• Creative mindset and the ability to contribute fresh ideas.

• General understanding of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time

• Must reside in the Greater Houston area

• Have reliable transportation

• Must be willing to sign non-disclosure agreement as apart of this internship
